I know I only recently reviewed the PB, but I discovered something that bears an update. Ordering online! One can place one's order online, pay online (select stores only, but not mine...) and it'll be ready at the time you choose!

I tried it out, and lo and behold, I arrived at the appointed time, strolled up to the register and my eats were ready to go! I added a CCOC and a soda, and it was time to consume!

As the lady behind me put it, "Why didn't he have to wait in line like everybody else?" Why indeed, Blondie, why indeed...

Had my first encounter today with the new Potbelly Sandwich Works at Reston Town Center - hereafter referred to as "PSW."

I placed my order online and then walked downstairs about 15 minutes later - the PSW is on the ground floor of the office building where my office is located.

I went for the Meatball sandwich with Marinara, provolone cheese, and hot peppers, a cup of Chili with onions, a dill pickle, and a bottle of water.  The place was absolutely packed! I think the allure of having a place in the Reston Town Center where sandwiches are just $4 and change is driving a lot of the business - with the exception of Yum Yum - most everything else in the RTC is expensive.

The sandwich was spicy and excellent! The Chili was decent, and the dill pickle was massive! They sliced it lengthwise into quarters - very sour, crisp, and mouthwatering!

All four items together:  $9.66 - great lunch!
