I went to a breakfast in fhe boardroom and then stood on the floor while a newly public company rang the bell.  The boardroom features a gigantic vase given to the Stock Exchange in 1906 by the Czar of Russia in thanks for listing the bonds that financed the Trans-Siberia Railway.  How cool is that?
